The new music group will present Òscar’s piano trio ‘Through the Wound’ to Armenian audiences

Ensemble Assonance is one of the leading new music groups in Armenia and was formed in 2017 in Yerevan, as a unique group primarily aimed at the performance of lesser-known works of contemporary and classical music. The main mission of the ensemble is familiarizing the Armenian audience with the current developments of the international music scene.

The ensemble consists of well-known performers whose broad professional experience makes it possible to represent a wide array of musical styles. The collaboration with educational institutions and festivals as well as the promotion of the new music are among the main goals of the ensemble.

The ensemble will programme one of Òscar’s piano trio nocturnes, Through the Wound, in the Ensemble’s 2020-21 season.

You can hear the nocturne below, in the performance by the Linos Piano Trio, recorded live in The Menuhin Hall, Surrey, UK.
