Commissioned by the Diputació de València / Iturbi International Piano Competition for the competition’s 40th anniversary; completed in January 2021; premiered in the semifinals on 27–28 June 2021, when all ten semifinalists performed the complete triptych.

Program notes

I. Cant i Espai [5?] / II. Platja i nit. Albà [4?] / III. Aigua i Alabastre [4?]. A central work of the SPACE phase (2015–23): the image becomes an inhabited perceptual environment, organised through register, touch, luminosity, density and resonance.
