Òscar joined the music forum for a conversation on musical education, excellence and artistic development
Òscar recently took part in the Tertúlies Musicals de la Ribera, held in Guadassuar, in an interview and open conversation with the audience.
The session focused on music education, artistic excellence and the role of musical institutions in shaping the next generation of performers and creators. Drawing on his experience as composer, conductor, educator and Dean of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, Colomina reflected on the relationship between talent, discipline, institutional culture and the search for an authentic artistic voice.
The invitation also offered an opportunity to return to the Valencian context from which Òscar’s musical formation first emerged, and to engage with a public forum rooted in the strong musical culture of La Ribera and the wider Valencian region.
Ahead of the event, Òscar was interviewed on À Punt Radio’s L’hora de la cultura, where he introduced some of the ideas developed in the talk and discussed music education and excellence in connection with the Tertúlies Musicals de la Ribera.
